Fortify supports customers with cutting edge research on application security. The internal Fortify Security Research Group (SRG) is a dedicated team of researchers focused on identifying new security vulnerabilities and developing techniques for finding and eliminating these vulnerabilities.
To date, the SRG has identified the most complete set of application vulnerabilities, which can be found here. They have also developed an open source security initiative, researched best practices for deploying security solutions, and produced several white papers, videos and podcasts on a range of topics.
