Fortify is seeking experienced professionals with experience in application security, software development, project/customer management, and business development. This role requires working closely with Fortify's sales team to develop customized enterprise-wide application security plans to help Fortify's customers meet their security goals. The ideal candidate will enjoy interfacing regularly with customers and prospects, and articulating Fortify's strength as a leader in providing strategic security services. Positions are available in San Mateo, CA, New York City, and Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams within Fortify to assess customers’ application security requirements
• Build enterprise application security plans with large customers interfacing with development and security teams and senior management
• Create Statements of Work and drive the process through customer signature
• Present Fortify’s professional services capabilities to senior-level customer audiences
• Manage multiple ongoing projects at enterprise customer sites
• Interface with Product Management and Engineering to enhance products
• Provide strategic consulting on policies, guidelines, technical papers and roadmaps
• Contribute to the Fortify Knowledge Base and Best Practices
• Extensive travel required, as most work is conducted at the customer site

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in the area of real world software development and build environments; Java/J2EE, MS .NET, Unix C/C++
• 5+ years experience in a role of software application or development tool consulting to enterprise clients
• Experience in project management and account development
• Experience in the Enterprise Security space, especially application security is a plus
• Experience and strength in interfacing with “C Level” technical personnel
• Ability to communicate successfully with upper level management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to succeed in a team-based environment
• CISSP, CISA, CPP MCP/MCSE and SANS certifications a plus
• Multi-platform experience strongly desired
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field strongly desired
